About Me

Adrian Cires is a Computer Science—Machine Learning major with a minor in Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park, with a personal focus on robotics and computer perception. As the Avionics Lead for UMD Loop, he directs the Electrical and Software subteams in developing practical solutions for the University Rover Challenge. Adrian's expertise spans Computer Vision, ROS2, and Embedded Systems, with a strong interest in enhancing rover operations and autonomous systems. Passionate about the intersection of software and electronics, Adrian is always looking to expand his technical knowledge by taking on new challenges and projects.
